Neetu Chandra is a model and an Bhojuri actress from Bihar. She was born and has lived in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Her latest Bhojpuri movie was Deswa. Dewas was a movie about a local Bihari boy who moves out of Bihar to get a job, the story is about the difficulties he has to face outside Bihar. His parents are against him who wants him to return and start business in Bihar but he doesn’t want that. Neetu Chandra has done a great job in Deswa.

Bhojpuri Language is spoken in Bihar, Eastern Uttar Pradesh and some plain areas of Nepal. It is considered as a dialect of the Hindi language. The Bhojpuri language is also spoken in countries with significant Bihari expatriates such as Guyana, Suriname, Fiji, Trinidad and Tobago and Mauritius. In Surinam the language as been mixed and termed as Sarnami Hindi or just Sarnami with words adopted from Creole, English and Dutch. Although it seems to have a great mass of people speaking the Bhojpuri language, it is very popular in Bihar and some eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Regions where Bhojpuri language is spoken
Bhojpuri is verbalized in the west-central territories of Bihar specified as Champaran, Saran, Shahabad, Palamau and Ranchi. Whilst the Ranchi territory is primarily inhabited by Adivasis, the basic linguistic communication of the masses is Sadari or Sadani, which is a pattern of Bhojpuri. Bhojpuri-speakers are also detected in north-western Muzaffarpur and the Pirpanti and Golgong constabulary bases of the Bhagalpur zone. Currently there are more than ten million Bhojpuri-speaking masses in Bihar. It is verbalized also in the Varanasi and Gorakhpur parts of Uttar Pradesh. Bhojpuri regions have facilitated a great deal in the development of Hindi literature. Whilst Bhojpuri features no specified ancient scripted literature as Maithili, the passion with which its talkers treasure, they are just as eminent especially Bhojpuri songs. In recent times Bhojpuri songs has become hugely popular. The Indian film industry has used some of the best of Bhojpuri language singers such Guddu Rangila, Sarda Sinha and Manoj Tiwari.

Nowadays the Bolllywood movies take extra care to include either a song or some scenes picturing Bhojpuri. This often gives extra punch to the movies. For example, the movies would have a character that would speak Bhojpuri. This makes the movies more international especially it appeals to the Bhojpuri community outside India.
Future of Bhojpuri songs and music
It is foreseen that in the following months, Bhojpuri songs will stage a comeback to glory. Attempts are being made to make Bhojpuri a national language. A commette has been formed and an appeal has been sent to the Government of India granting Bhojpuri a national language. If the status is granted, Bhojpuri will become the second largest spoken language outside India other than Hindi. This will truly be a great achievement for the community.
Popularity of Bhojpuri songs
Bhojpuri Songs have become really popular not only in Bihar but rest of India. It can also be head outside India especially where the Bhojpuri community are present in large numbers. These include Nepal, Fiji, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and Mauritius. During the British rule of India, significant workers were taken from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh to these regions to work on the sugar plantations.
It was once thought that Bhojpuri language is of the rustics of Bihar and other north eastern states but in recent times it has seen rejuvenation. It can now be heard on most Indian TV shows. In addition on talent shows many Indian singers often sing Bhojpuri songs to win the hearts and minds of the Bhojpuri community as they represent significant numbers.
